Call for papers for a special issue on the Gender Gap in Academic Research

Dr. Yingxin “Margaret” Liu, Lecturer at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, China, and Dr. Lilan Chen, Assistant professor at Osaka University, Japan, are pleased to announce a call for papers for a special issue on the Gender Gap in Academic Research, to be published in Humanities and Social Sciences Communications, a highly regarded SSCI and A&CHI Q1 journal in the Nature Research Journal series. They invite scholars and researchers interested in gender issues to contribute high-quality, original research articles, theoretical papers, and empirical studies that explore various aspects of this important topic. 

Submission Guidelines:

  • Abstracts: Abstracts of up to 1,000 words (including references) are welcomed. Each submission should include a brief bio of up to 50 words for each contributing author.
  • Deadline: Please submit your abstract by October 31, 2024.
